A highly accomplished and results-led Marketing Director with over a decade of experience in leading cross-functional high-performing teams in complex organisations. A former public sector Senior Leader of Secondary and Post-16 Education and Arts Council England Artistic Quality Assessor Gemma has a high EQ and a flare for monitoring performance to pivot quickly to deliver on targets and goals.

Adept at optimising corporate strategies, managing change and driving agency process improvements. She has proven expertise in developing and delivering brand communications along with implementing data-driven analysis fuelling global brand visibility. As a Director of Global Creative Excellence, Gemma carefully leads organisations to global recognition including Network and Agencies of the Year, creative Grand Prixs and World Changing Ideas.

Featured in global media including AdAge and The Drum and as an established public speaker Gemma has had the honour of delivering keynotes at high-profile events including Cannes Lions and as a guest lecturer at institutions including London College of Fashion and University of Bath. 

Named as the number 1 Global Awards Manager by CreativePool and recognised on The Dots Rising Star 2021 list she has also been awarded by Oxford Brooks Business School and judges at multiple industry shows including The New York Advertising Festival and Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. She is also a steering group member of the University of Bath Employer Forum and a founding member of the Chartered College of Teaching. 

Outside of work, Gemma volunteers at The British Museum as a Highlights Tour Guide and Mind Charity Walk and Talk Tour Guide broadening access to public education of cultural artefacts.
